We have all felt lonely before. It’s a empty feeling of isolation and disconnection. We don’t even have to be by ourselves to experience it. We can feel loneliness while in a relationship, in a crowded room or even when with friends. Jesus understands the full breadth of loneliness because he experienced it as well. Because with him though, we are never truly alone. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
