No one goes through life without experiencing the loss of someone or something dear. The loss of a loved one is one of life’s most intense challenges and the pain can be overwhelming. But God doesn’t leave you to suffer alone.
He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. - Isaiah 53:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. - Matthew 5:4 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. - Psalm 147:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble. - 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - Psalm 23:4 I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14 The trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory’. - 1 Corinthians 15:52, 54 God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. - Revelation 21:4
