How do we put God ahead of our daily worries and fears? He needs to be ahead of all the meetings and have-to-be-done's that fill up our lives. Here is the Bible’s advice for putting God first.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. - Matthew 6:33
No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. - Matthew 6:24
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. - Matthew 6:19-21
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. - Proverbs 16:3
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. - Colossians 3:1-4
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” - Matthew 22:37
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. - Matthew 6:31-33
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20

I love these verses! In these last days here on earth, we have so many things demanding ours our attention and our time, it is easy to get caught up in everything and put other things first. But, we MUST put God first! When we put other things first before GOD, it's the same as bowing down to and idol. GOD, help me to always put you first and allow YOU to control my life.

Amen Amen and Amen surely God alone is our way, light and the truth, we are dependent on him. He is the air we breathe may he always be glorified, for there is fullness and joy in the Lord.

Bless God Almighty. I think I struggle with this so much because this world becomes so familiar. However, reading this verses makes me realize that all of the things on Earth are just temporary moments of distraction and happiness. What I should put my focus on is my eternal life and that means truly putting God first.
