We all need a moment of joy in our busy and hectic days. A moment when we can relax and take pleasure from the good things in our lives. There are many Bible verses about joy that encourages people to take a break from all the Dos and Don’ts we carry around in our heads.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. - Romans 12:12
When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. - Psalm 94:19
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. - Psalm 16:11
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. - 1 Peter 1:8-9
